The picture opens Paraiba group exhibition with the work of 15 photographers working in the state. The initiative consolidates the cultural scene in Brazil Paraiba bringing the public the opportunity to contemplate the production of photography with works by local photographers that explore the diverse forms of photographic language from a documentary point of view to experimental approaches.

The highlight of the show in September Photo is dedicated to photography Paraiba. With 45 photos group exhibition brings together the work of 15 photographers born and rooted in Paraíba.

The exhibition aims to trace a panorama photograph Paraiba at present, uniting from photographers dedicated to those who are taking the first steps in the consolidation of their careers. The result brings up a vibrant part of the photograph with a diversified production Paraiba, which places side by side different generations and different forms of appropriation of photographic language.

Like a number of initiatives that have occurred throughout Brazil, in order to give more visibility to regional photographic production, the exhibition gives us a portrait of a local photo in dialogue with the different influences of the contemporary photography scene. In times of globalization the geographical rift Paraiba speaks of a photograph that opens to the world and the different ways of seeing the world. Thus, exposure to glimpse in a photo that meets photojournalists, documentary photographers and visual artists who explore language in a diverse photographic work from the limits of the documentary tradition to more experimental approaches in which the photograph appears in a dialogue with the arts.

Are present in the group show photographers Adrian Franco, Andrew Lins Nobrega, Antonio David, Arthur Maia, Augusto Person, Aurilio Santos, Chico Dantas, Cyber, Dayse Eusebius, Frido Claudino, Gustavo Maia, Luca Fiorini, Lula Ferreira, Paulo Rossi and Rafael Steps.

The curator of the exhibition had the participation of the Paraiba photographer Antonio Augusto Fontes, the Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro Ed Vigiani Pedro Karp Vasquez who worked on a selection of over 60 world photographers who enrolled in the project announcement.

My participation has pictures of the series Colors of the Night , a small preview of a work that I have developed over three years on the streets and at night it burns the city of João Pessoa.

The exhibition will be open for viewing by the end of the month with free entrance to the beautiful space station Cape Blanco. The opening ceremony will launch the exhibition catalog.
